The total elderly (above 60 years) population in India is about 104 million as of 2011 census,
and growing. Consequently, West Bengal is home to a significant elderly population.
The urban scenario is that the younger generations like son/daughters/close relatives
are placed in different cities of West Bengal or India or abroad for their livelihood/job/
business related activities which keep them away from their parents and close ones for a
considerable period of their lives. The senior citizens are mostly left to fend for themselves
in times of illness and emergency situations.It has been widely discussed and acknowledged
that the senior citizens living in any big cities are helpless in emergency conditions or
during illness.
In our endeavor to reach out to the community and mitigate such situations, we as a
team with our own modern Hospital have after much deliberations realized that the
best solution in the given situation would be to give holistic support and developed the
concept of HOME CARE unit of the Hospital. The unique feature of this Hospital is that
it is set up, run and managed by the doctors themselves. Thus giving it an extra edge over
other hospitals. This idea of care, is formulated in such a way that when the elderly people
are in need of urgent medical attention or face unforeseen critical health issues in absence
of their kins, this Hospital will take care of the situation and take necessary steps with
its dedicated staff and doctors.

Various types of members get regular checkup at least once / twice a month by the
Health care personnel as per need.
As a part of Home visit , Hospital will arrange for health care personnel to attend at
patient's house to check BP , Blood sugar, ECGs & other relevant activities.
Will try to communicate to concerned Doctor & take advice if required.
If any tests are required they will help.
They will help to arrange regular medicines from the market /Not available in the market.
If required the Hospital will help to bring them to OPDs by minimally charged ambulance / vehicles They will arrange the Doctors appointments etc Will help for respective consultations Get discounts from the tests / procedures from the Hospital Labs / Doctors
Admission for indoor care, patient will have to call specific desk & ask for help, That help will be extended as a priority basis by the Executives. Free ambulance to bring the patients to Hospital The initial deposit required at the time of admission will not be absolutely necessary. It will be adjusted from the membership deposit paid to the Hospital. The same can be paid within 48 hrs time. The Home care executive will inform close relatives by phone calls, by E- mail or so and coordinate about progress of patient. The hospital will arrange other necessities to initiate the treatment.
